1. Service Description

KIORA (kioralife.com) is an AI-powered personality and energy analysis platform based on Korean Five Elements (오행, Wu Xing) philosophy and Jungian psychology. The service delivers personalized digital reports ("KiCode Analysis") for entertainment, self-development, and wellness purposes.

KIORA is NOT a fortune-telling service and does NOT make predictions about future events. All analyses are psychological and philosophical insights presented as reference material.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 14 years of age to use this service.
By using KIORA, you represent that you meet the age requirement.
You agree to provide accurate birth date information for analysis purposes.

3. Digital Product

KIORA sells digital content products — AI-generated personality analysis reports delivered electronically upon purchase. Each report is a unique, personalized document based on your inputs.

Basic Analysis — One-time purchase, immediate digital delivery
Premium Analysis — One-time purchase, comprehensive digital report
Monthly Subscription — Recurring access to analysis features

4. Acceptable Use

Use KIORA for personal, non-commercial purposes only.
Do not input another person's data without their consent.
Do not attempt to reverse-engineer, copy, or redistribute KIORA's proprietary KiCode algorithm or content.
Do not use the service in ways that violate applicable laws.

5. Intellectual Property

The KiCode system, brand, algorithms, designs, and generated content are the intellectual property of KIORA. You may use your personal analysis report for personal reference only. Unauthorized commercial reproduction or distribution is prohibited.

6. Disclaimer

KIORA's analyses are provided for entertainment and self-reflection purposes only. They do not constitute medical, legal, financial, or psychological advice. KIORA makes no guarantees about the accuracy or completeness of any analysis. You are solely responsible for any decisions made based on KIORA content.

7. Service Changes

KIORA reserves the right to modify or discontinue the service with reasonable notice. In the event of discontinuation of a paid service, refunds will be provided per our Refund Policy.

8. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea. Disputes shall be resolved in Korean courts. For international users, these Terms represent a binding agreement regardless of your jurisdiction.

만 14세 이상이어야 서비스를 이용할 수 있습니다.
정확한 분석을 위해 정확한 생년월일을 입력해주세요.
서비스 결과는 오락·참고 목적이며, 의학적·법적·재무적 조언을 대체하지 않습니다.

1. Data We Collect

Date of Birth — Required for KiCode calculation (core functionality)
Birth Time (optional) — For enhanced analysis accuracy
Survey Responses — Anonymous preferences to personalize your analysis
Email Address (paid users) — For report delivery and purchase confirmation
Payment Information — Processed by our payment provider; KIORA does not store card details
Session Identifier — A randomly generated anonymous ID stored locally in your browser

2. How We Use Your Data

Generate and deliver your personalized KiCode analysis report
Send purchased reports via email
Improve service quality through anonymized usage statistics

3. Data Retention

Analysis data is retained for 3 years after your last use, then permanently deleted. You may request deletion at any time by contacting us.

4. Third-Party Data Sharing

KIORA does not sell user data. We share minimal data only with service partners necessary to operate KIORA:

Polar.sh / Payment Processor — Payment processing only (card data never touches our servers)
Supabase — Encrypted data storage (SOC 2 Type II certified infrastructure)
Anthropic Claude API — Analysis text generation (no personally identifiable information is sent)
Resend — Transactional email delivery

5. Your Rights

Right to access, correct, or delete your personal data
Right to withdraw consent at any time

6. Cookies & Local Storage

KIORA uses browser local storage to save your session ID and A/B test variant for a consistent experience. This data does not contain personally identifiable information and can be cleared via your browser settings at any time.

7. International Users

KIORA is operated from South Korea. By using our service, you consent to the processing of your data in South Korea in accordance with this Privacy Policy and Korean data protection law (PIPA).

Refund Policy

    We offer a full refund within 14 days of purchase if the analysis content has not been accessed.
  

1. One-Time Purchases (Basic & Premium)

Eligible for refund: Within 14 days of purchase AND full analysis content not yet accessed
Not eligible: After accessing the full analysis report (digital content — once delivered, the service has been rendered)

Processing time: 3–5 business days after approval

2. Monthly Subscription

Cancel anytime — no further charges after cancellation takes effect
Current billing period is non-refundable
Cancel via account settings or by emailing hello@kioralife.com

3. Technical Error Refunds

If a technical error on our part prevents you from receiving your analysis report, you are entitled to a full refund regardless of whether content was accessed. We will process this immediately upon verification.

4. Refund Method

Refunds are returned to the original payment method. Processing times vary by payment provider — typically 3–10 business days to reflect in your account.

5. Consumer Rights

This policy does not limit any statutory consumer rights you may have under applicable law in your jurisdiction.

환불 불가: 전체 분석 콘텐츠 열람 후 (디지털 콘텐츠 특성상)
환불 방법: hello@kioralife.com 으로 주문번호와 함께 요청
처리 기간: 요청 후 3~5 영업일

2. 월간 구독

언제든지 취소 가능 (다음 결제일 전까지 취소 시 다음 달부터 미청구)
이미 청구된 월은 환불되지 않습니다.

3. 기술적 오류

서비스 오류로 인해 분석 결과가 정상 제공되지 않은 경우, 열람 여부와 관계없이 전액 환불해드립니다.
